Individual IFS Psychotherapy

A bird soaring in a clear, blue sky.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate and non-pathologising approach to therapy that understands the mind as made up of different “parts”, each with their own perspectives, feelings, and roles. Some parts may carry pain from past experiences, while others work hard to protect us from being hurt again. In IFS, we gently get to know these parts with curiosity and care, helping them feel heard and supported. This process can create greater inner harmony, self-trust and a deeper sense of steadiness and choice.

Couple’s Counselling / Relationship Therapy

I offer support for couples (monogamous & non-monogamous inclusive) as well as for those wanting to strengthen non-intimate or platonic relationship bonds with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT helps couples move out of painful cycles of conflict, distance, or misunderstanding and into deeper connection. By slowing down and exploring the emotions and attachment needs beneath these patterns, partners can begin to respond to one another with greater openness, care, and understanding.
I offer support for:
  • Sex and intimacy

  • Setting boundaries
  • Exploring alternative relationship styles such as polyamory and open relating

Meditation Teaching & Facilitation

Meditation or "gom" in Tibetan translates as "to familarise" or "to cultivate". It is a practice of slowing down and observing the mind, through which we become more aware of our own thoughts, reactions and mental habits.
The scientific benefits of meditation are now well studied and evidence suggests that meditation supports neuroplasticity, concentration, memory, reduces stress, increases emotional regulation, and supports chronic and acute pain management. Importantly, meditation is also a practice of spiritual development where we learn to cultivate compassion for ourselves and others.
I offer community meditation courses and classes, as well as facilitating meditation and mindfulness practices at workplaces and events (online options available).
If you would like your staff or colleagues to experience the benefits of meditation, please reach out to learn more about my fees and services.

Supervision

As an accredited Social Worker with the AASW, I am able to provide individual supervision for emerging and existing social workers and community mental health practitioners. Supervision offers a reflective space to slow down and thoughtfully explore your clinical work, the challenges that arise in practice, and your ongoing development as a social worker. My approach is collaborative, inclusive and focuses on your unique strengths as a practitioner.

My sessions with Kelly have been an incredibly rewarding experience. She is so kind, considerate, non-judgemental and insightful. Her acknowledgement of systemic difficulties and understanding of my intersectional experience sets a really comforting foundation of safety for me to be honest and authentically explore my challenges, joys, changes and traumas. She treats me and our sessions with respect, and acceptance of however I need to show up in the therapeutic space each time. Through our time together, I have found a greater sense of self-compassion and understanding which I hadn't found with other therapists.”
